"Powerbocking Scouts help Mike rise to the challenge for Sport Relief"
8 Scout members of EPB joined with 2 Sky High, 1 EA and 5 Stiff and Stilted at Gilwell Park Campsite to teach BBC Sports Presenter Mike Bushall to Powerbock.
There was also a record attempt made for the fastest 400m on jumping stilts, which was acheived by Michael Dalton, an Essex Power Bocker, with a time of 1 minute 10.2 seconds.
The footage of us teaching Mike and running the 400m was then shown on BBC Breakfast on 15th March (see video below)
The following morning over 30 Scouts Powerbocked the Sport Relief miles in Manchester and Milton Keynes. This included 6 EPB in Manchester and 8 in Milton Keynes!
Big thank you and well done to everyone who took part in the filming, you all did brilliantly!! This is the video of the BBC1 Breakfast report shown on Saturday 15th March 2008:
The Scouts took part in both the Manchester and Milton Keynes miles
